About ABA Townsquare

Our Vision

Advancing Quality and Opportunity in ABA Therapy

ABA Townsquare exists to strengthen the insurance-funded ABA field by elevating knowledge, supporting ethical practice, and expanding professional opportunity.

Our vision is a field where clinicians are prepared not only to deliver high-quality care, but also to lead, build, and sustain practices that serve families and communities over the long term.

We believe progress in ABA requires more than isolated tools or one-time training—it requires shared knowledge, practical systems, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Our Story

From Education to Ecosystem

ABA Townsquare evolved from a simple but persistent observation: many ABA professionals leave graduate programs highly trained clinically, yet underprepared for the realities of practice, leadership, and business operations.

This led to the creation of Hi-5 ABA University, followed by Mind The Academic Gap (MTAG)—a continuing education initiative focused on practical, real-world knowledge. As the community grew, so did the need for a broader, more connected space.

ABA Townsquare emerged as the natural next step: a centralized ecosystem that brings education, practice tools, business insight, and community into one shared professional home.

Leadership Team & Contributors

Built by Practitioners, Educators, and Operators

ABA Townsquare is guided by leaders and contributors with direct experience in clinical practice, education, and insurance-funded ABA operations. This includes clinicians, instructors, operators, and industry partners who understand both the opportunities and challenges facing the field.

Together, they shape content, curriculum, and resources that reflect real-world conditions—not theoretical ideals.

ABA Townsquare emerged as the natural next step: a centralized ecosystem that brings education, practice tools, business insight, and community into one shared professional home.

The “Mother Merrill” Philosophy

An Open-Value Approach to Growth

The “Mother Merrill” philosophy reflects ABA Townsquare’s commitment to open value creation. Rather than extracting value from the field, Townsquare is designed to reinvest knowledge, resources, and opportunity back into the professional community.

ABA Townsquare is not about controlling the conversation—it’s about hosting it responsibly.
